NEW VISION FOR U.S. SQUASH
Welcome to the San Diego Squash web site, born in 2005 and conceived by the unique partnership of Greg Scherman, San Diego entrepreneur and Chris Walker, Squash professional.
Our
vision for San Diego Squash was to create a facility where its members congregate, play squash and enjoy the experience. Many U.S. fitness centers and clubs lack the social scene common in international clubs.
We believe our combined European and Southern California approach
has created an atmosphere where the members feel they want to play and stay!
The ultimate goal was to provide a positive environment for our members. With the 'T-Bar' serving beer and beverages at the club there is a great atmosphere to enjoy before and after playing. Members also have the opportunity to improve their squash under the tutelage of our Australian professional coach, Jeff Young.
It is also our desire to bring the level of San Diego Squash to new
heights. We are committed to encouraging more junior's to become
involved in the game as well as continuing and expanding the program
for our adult players. Our ongoing plan is to continue inviting squash
professionals to visit and enrich our lives with new and exciting events, placing San Diego on the national and international map of renowned squash destinations.
